Most, if not all, of my submissions are affected by ther world around me and my emotions. This submission is no different, only that this is probably largely influenced by listening to Black Metal this week, talking to * selva-amarga about black metal lyrics and intense playing of Doom 3.

So, I know that after serene landscapes and dreamy clouds and stuff, this *may* come as a little bit of a shock...

well I guess things are never dull around my gallery

(although I'm sure that theres loads of people who woould beg to differ)

This image was created from scratch in photoshop with the mouse (arghhhh... NEVER AGAIN. Give me my Intuos back!!!) just to see if I could do anything with the skills I learned from using the tablet. I did use a stock image (taken by myself) of a cool gnarled up tree which I found in the field where my father keeps his horse and I've been gagging to use it for something. Think it fits quite well as horns

Not sure if this isn't too dark yet, I'm looking at it on a bright TFT screen so its difficult to tell. If it is it'll be tweaked and re-submitted.

Very impressive, especially considering it was made with a mouse! Was the face from a photo, or is it drawn from scratch?
