I hate it when I get an idea in my head which make me giggle, cos I know I'm gonna have to try it out. thats what happened with this image. I seem to be getting quite a lot of stupid ideas recently which only i seem to find funny....

the problem with this image is that it really hould be a cartoon, but seeing as I'm not a cartoonist I've had to give it my best shot.

there are sooooo many technical things wrong with this image its untrue (too many to list but I'm sure people here will take great delight in pointing them out anyway ) but I wanted to attempt it anyway just to see how far I could push an improve my rendering and photoshop skills.

snowy background cos I am too lazy to create any more detail snow = large areas of white = happy me

the Crow and the ruins are rendered in Poser, the Rocket was created in 3D Studio (and yes I know it sucks ) the explosion and flames etc are Photoshop as is all the snow effects, colouring etc etc

I know its not my best work, but having spent so much time on it it seems a shame not to share it

about 4 hours work all in.
