Speed Mainpulation/Painting across 2 hours (hey, that *is* a speed painting in terms of my skills)

This image came about from a days practicing in various techniques and styles. I'm trying to get a handle on how I use my tablet. I'm not happy with the way I'm currently applying brushes and things and I want to move towards a less photorealistic and more concept art style finish. I've been adjusting and trying out new brush settings and used the stock as a nice contrasted black and white image. (it also helps that Sophie is kinda yummy )

I can see a big change in my style here, which is nice because I'm always open to new ideas, but i still have a long way to go yet. But like everything in life it's a learning experience and you have to keep practicing to get any better.

Please bare in mind when commenting that this is a practice work done very quickly and as such does not contain as much detail as I would normally include.
