final part of a three part series.

Part 1 - [link]
Part 2 - [link]

I took around five shots of my other halfs hands, mainly for variation in the fingers. I had fun with the liquify tool in Photoshop, which I used to thin out the fingers and make them look a little more unnatural. Saved me hours of work pushing the fingers about with the smudge tool and then repainting. Liquify for the win!

stock used: [link] [link] and textures found on stock.xchng

The premise behind this is that it is a wall feature in a temple, a dedication to some long forgotten gods or demons or something.

well, this looked really exciting until I full viewed and saw the clear finger images. (As I said in my comment on part 2, I am not too fond of 'horror' subject matter... then why am I here you ask? I stumbled in!) Anyhowww, I love the colors and the skull, the industrial eyes and the mouth shape. If the fingers were blurred so I couldn't tell what they were, I would fav this (not that I am suggesting that). Interesting series! I hope you do more.
