I actually showed the dragon one to my 13 year old daughter last night. She went through it and is just now beginning to play with my tablet. (she will need her own because when she grabbed mine, I growled.) Regardless, even though she isn't ready to quit tackle a Zilla style project, she understood the steps and felt like she could try something on her level in the same way. So I'd say yes. Make more when you have time!
