To me, this is classic zilla. Dark, grungey, a little bit twisted and a whole lot of awesome.

The texturing works really well combined with the filter effect. I never use any filters in my work as I generally only ever see bad effects from them, but this is one which I'd certainly experiment with.

I found myself looking at the shapes extending from her hair, looking to find more detail -- perhaps a hidden eye or face, in line with the other macabre elements which you tend to use -- but it works perfectly as is.

It's good to see you returning to your roots and producing some really inspirational dark art. You were always considered to be a leader in this genre and it's an accolade that's well deserved.
